Micrium uC-Probe

Post by Lachlanp »

Has anyone attempted to get Micrium uC-Probe to work with the Netburner platform.

I have used uC-Probe with uC/OS-II on another platform successfully. However, I have only used the RS-232 interface.

I am trying to get uC-Probe to working using the TCP interface which requires a bsd 4.2 style interface. The Netburner TCP/IP platform does not seem to translate well.

Has anyone tried this and been successful.

I don't know anything about the uC-Probe but I just wanted to point out in case you don't know, that NetBurner isn't using uC/OS-II. I believe they use a customized version of uC/OS-I. When I have delved into uC issues in the past I've noticed the calls and headers are sometimes quite different from what's in uC/OS-II.

Based on the customizations that I have had to make to standard functions like Semaphores and the like, I would probably concur.

Thanks,
