Mod-Dev-70 documentation?

Post by barttech »

Hi,
Where do I find the Manual for the Mod-Dev-70? I'm trying to find out how to set up the USB vs Rs232 ports on it.
The link at
http://www.netburner.com/products/devel ... pment.html
is 404.

Hmm... That really ought to be on the site, but I'm not seeing it either. USB is pins 1,2 of the selection jumpers and DB9/Ext power is pins 2,3 of the jumpers. Off hand I don't know which of jumpers JP2 and JP3 is RX versus CTS, but it's one of those two. JP1 is the external power versus USB power selector.

Thanks Dan,
I had been looking at my V1.7 board, but I see (with a loupe) my V 1.8 board tells the story in the silkscreen:
JP3 UART0 CTS RS232 2-3, 1-2 USB
JP2 UART0 RX 2-3 RS232, 1-2 USB
JP1 Power 2-3 EXT PWR, 1-2 USB PWR

So I take it UART1 is always on J3?

JP4 is SD card write protect?

Please let me know when the manual is posted or located.

I suspect there's a getting started manual for the Dev70 somewhere, but lacking that most of the info you need can be teased out of either the Dev70 schematic at C:\nburn\docs\Platform\Schematics\MOD-DEV-70-SCH-R1p7, and the C:\nburn\MOD5270\include\pinconstant.h file.
