Fast Buffers Not defined in constants.h

Post by seulater »

I downloaded the Fast Buffers app note. and it says to remove a couple lines in the constants.h file.

The only problem is when I go to my folder "..\Nburn\include\constants.h" I dont have any of that text in there to uncomment. I have included my constants.h file.

Did I download an old version of the app note ?

Maybe the appnote refers to a later version than you are running?

Hi,

Sorry, this application has now been removed from the website. It will soon be replaced with a new SRAM performance application note. A different implementation of fast buffers is now part of the NNDK and enabled by default. The network performance on our modules is about twice the old "FAST_BUFFERS" performance without the need to enable any special options. You should be able to get close to line speed when transmitting UDP (>10MByte/s).
