GNU Compiler Version
In today's newsletter article about Netburner 3.0, it states that the 3.0 release of the tools updates the GNU compiler to 5.2. However, in tools version 2.8.7 the compiler is already at version 5.2. Is this a typo in the article?
Re: GNU Compiler Version
Hello,
That was a typo in the newsletter. 3.0 includes GCC 8.1 for both m68k and arm boards.

Re: GNU Compiler Version
Hi,
i had downloaded and installed tools version 2.8.7 few weeks back. And today logged into my support account to check for any update about tools and found out that the latest available version is 2.8.6. What happened to version 2.8.7? Is it buggy?
Thanks,
Prasad

Re: GNU Compiler Version
Hello,
There is no problem with 2.8.7. We are currently in the process of updating to 2.8.8 to add VLAN, and also adding 3.0 for corresponding release of the ARM platform. We should have the download section fixed soon. We will also notify the forum and also send out a notice when the two new releases are available.
