MTTTY memory/CPU problem

Post by hector »

Hi there,

since my beginnings with the Netburner IDE I am experiencing problems during the usage of MTTTY (Eclipse and DevC++ environment).
After turning it on, it starts to occupie loads of memory (>= 600 MB and counting). The CPU load reaches 99% after a short period of time.
The application on my 5270B is a simple program which creates a few objects and then goes into the main loop containing a OSTimeDly of 2000.
The objects created do not contain any complex methods/routines. Help would be much appreciated...since I am starting to go
O.J. over here.

Sorry, I for one need some clarification. I can't tell if you're having a problem with MTTY, a problem with Eclipse or a problem with you NB app. I would have to guess you're talking about your development computer's CPU and memory (as opposed to the NB's CPU/Memory). If that is the case can you launch MTTY and run it against one of the factory demo apps with no problem? Do you have the same problem with a different terminal program? Does the problem happen if you reboot your computer and never launch eclipse, just launch MTTY and communicate with your NB app? You might also want to include info on what version of the NNDK, MTTY, Windows OS etc.
