When I set up a virtual com port, it will work for a while and then at some point it will stop receiving. What I've noticed is that when it is working, the setup app will show "Connected from 1 to 1". When it stops it shows "Connected from 0 to 1". Any idea what is going wrong?
I am using the virtual com port with an SB72-EX on Windows 7 x64 system.
Also, there are a lot of settings for the Virtual Com Port and how you use it is not obvious (e.g. what is "Baudrate emulation"?). Some documentation would be nice.

The version of the virtual comm port software was updated yesterday. We added the ability to reconnect on timeout, which is the problem you are experiencing right now. We also removed all of those extra settings at the bottom, as they are not relevant to the application's usage.
Please download the virtual comm software again and give it a try.
