NBWIFIIN Programmers Guide and Users Manual

Post by greengene »

Is this manual forthcoming (when?) ala the manual for NBWIFIUG?
I downloaded the older when first installing the new adapter and today
I finally needed to refer to it and told a potential :( client the adapter
was based on the REALTEK part rather than the Inventek(Broadcom)
part that is currently (at least on the part I have) being used. I
subsequently pulled up the schematic and saw that the Inventek part
was there and also louped the actual part to read that part was what
was there too.

Anyhow, 2.6.7 looks ready for the current part but a go-along Reference
Manual would be nice. The examples look like they match up with Networking-in-a-Day
metric with the finer details left as homework. Inventek's documentation is helpful
too, e.g., the AT command reference, but pulling it all together must have been,
and continue to be, fun.

We should get that manual together. I'll see if I can put one together over the next couple weeks (I'm currently trying to get TLS up and running ASAP).

A note: while the hardware in use is currently an Inventek module, the firmware is not. It is a custom built firmware of our own design. And yes, wifi is... fun.
