Installation issues in relation to Avast antivirus

We have some users complaining about the installation appearing to fail, stating that any serial number entered is reported as incorrect. I believe we even had this issue come up during the Las Vegas conference one of the attendees. The issue has been narrowed down to a false positive scan results from Avast antivirus. Sometimes Avast will give you an alert windows, and sometimes it seems to silently delete files that cause the NNDK setup tools to fail. We have submitted our application as a false positive to Avast so now it's just a matter of time to get this fixed on their end.






If you have Avast and are having problems installing the tools, please temporarily disable Avast during installation. Once the NNDK is installed you can reenable the antivirus software.

This problem only appears to occur for users using need a vast antivirus tools. No other antivirus tools I reporting this problem.
