Implementation of VLAN/IEEE802.1Q

Is there any plan for Netburner to add support for IEEE 802.1Q (Virtual LAN)?
We're tendering for a project where VLAN support would be useful.
Looking at various websites such as Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.1Q it appears to be a case of inserting a four byte block after the Source MAC address in the Ethernet frame. That may be easier said than done, of course........
The VLAN Identifier tag would be a setting in the system configuration.
