SB70LC AT commands

Greetings.
I've just started working with the SB70LC. I'm trying to configure it with AT commands. I'm able to connect and get the string 'Starting AT command\r\nOK>', and I can set values, e.g. AT#SYSIP=10.0.0.1 (set IP address) with the AT commands, however I only see one character responses where I would expect to see more. For example, AT#CURIP? (current IP address) returns '1'. Also AT#CURMA? (current MAC address) returns 'U'.
Is this familiar to anyone? Am I missing a configuration option? Is there a doc on the complete AT command and response set.
thanks for your help.
