moving NNDk installation to a new machine

Post by roland.ames »

I currently have NNDK Rel24_rc2 installed on a windows XP machine. I am about to upgrade to a new 64 bit windows 8 machine. What do I have to do to migrate to the new machine, keeping the relevant MOD libraries for the development kits I have previously installed? Is there anything I need to do or should be aware of?
Thanks,
Roland

---EDIT---
that should be 64 bit windows 7

You will need the registration numbers for all your dev kits. If you use NBEclipse that will install a 32 bit customized version of Eclipse that should work fine. If you want to install Indigo, Juno or Helios (I recommend Indigo) releases I would stick with a 32 bit version. I had no luck with 64 bit versions.

I think you need the 32-bit version of java installed as well.
