Multiple SBL2E's on one network - DHCP issue

I have several SBL2E's, and when I boot them all up at the same time, only one will send a DHCP Discover and get an address.
The SBL2E's are all running 1.65. Does anyone have any suggestions for working around this issue, or has anyone else seen it?

Uh... Did you mean 2.54? I've not heard of anything like this.
Also, can you elaborate on what the network traffic looks like, what is your DHCP server, how is it configured, what does your LAN look like, etc.

To be 100% DHCP compliant one is supposed to add a random boot time delay of 0 to 10 seconds to the DHCP discover message...
When we did this people complained about the long boot delay...
When we ported to the SBL2E we did not include this delay...
It would be pretty easy to add.....
I would expect that unless you have hundreds of SBL2E, just waiting the 5 seconds for the first re-tranmission
and retry of DHCP would be quicker.
When one of the units fails to get an address does it correct itself after 5 or 10 seconds?
We can offer some tips on slowing the process down to be in the center of the DHCP standard recommendations,
but everyone that has ever asked for this while debugging DHCP has undone the change as being too slow.
