Hi,
We purchased SBL2e-100IR which came with v1.57 firmware. We then update the firmware to v1.59 using autoupdate utility. But soon after the updation is completed the module no more responds to serial commands/data. Sending +++ has no effect. We tried configuring through the module webpage & ensured the AT commands are enabled and the escape character is +. The module can connect to the server however it cannot enter command mode nor can be send/receive any data from server over the UART interface.
We promptly downgraded back to v1.57 and it worked again. Has the version v1.59 been tested and known to work?
Can you please help?
SBL2e-100IR doesn't communicate after a firmware upgrade
Re: SBL2e-100IR doesn't communicate after a firmware upgrade
Hello,
SBL2E dual serial application v1.60 was just uploaded to the www.netburner.com/resources site. This one has been tested to work when sending "+++" through the serial com port in MTTTY.
There was an issue with v1.59 where the serial ports would be set as debug ports with default serial parameters regardless of whatever custom setting was used to set them via the web page.

Thanks for the info! I'm hugely surprised that such a firmware could even be released without testing!
