I know this is late, but I have had similar issues when data arrives at multiple serial ports at the same time, but only in network debug mode. The problem goes away when I switch to Run mode. Have you checked that?

Can you confirm which platform you are using? This ticket is for the SBL2e, which does not have a debugger.
