NANO54415 mechanical drawing

Post by seulater »

Now that these are shipping, where can we find the mechanical drawings at ?
Also, where is a good source for getting the hardware latch to hold the board down, and mini-pci connector.

the part numbers for the latch and connector are on the silkscreen for the carrier board....

Digikey part numbers WM3294CT-ND for latch
WM3471CT-ND for the connector....

As far as mechanicals... the mini pci express min is the board form factor....
Start at page 29 of this PDF... page 33 has the drawing...

We don't have mechanicals yet.. I can send gerbers, dxf, or altium files for the PCB...

Hi Paul,

I see you from your reply above that you use Altium Designer.

Do you by any chance use the 3D features of this software?

I would be interested in a 3D Step file of the MOD54415 is this was available. It would save me creating my own within my 3D CAD software like I did with the MOD5234.

I use Altium myself and I could then import the 3D file to the footprint for the MOD54415.

Cheers
Dave...

Like Dave, I too would be interested in it (but for the Nano, not the MOD) - it would save us some package design time.

We presently don't have good 3D modeling with Altium...
What gets generated is attached...
