If we gave you a PCIE lane, do you have a connector you like for that?

SOM's with PCIe often use an edge connector with PCIe lanes as well as other things (ie GPIO, SPI etc). That would work well but tends to limit how many signals are available. There are of course other possibilities. We would prefer not have any cabling from the SOM to our baseboard.

Note that we would need the Netburner to be the root complex in order to talk to an FPGA which would be an endpoint. Many SOM's assume it will be the other way around with the SOM being inserted as a PCIe endpoint in say a computer.

Just wondering if this is still something that is being looked at?

How power sensitive are you?

How cost sensitive?

Send a support mail, we have a device with dual gig interfaces that has just finished engineering bring up
and should beta some time lateer this quarter, (parts gods willing).
We can provide more info via support.

Any estimate on when a module might be released?

First beta batch were built, alas there was a part bom error and they are back at production getting parts swapped...|
So engineering probably has 2 to 4 weeks before we know they are good for beta.
Contact Sales about Beta availiblity...
