ProjectLocker as subversion Server

Post by tod »

I wanted to get rid of a server that was just hosting my subversion server. A few minutes on google turned up ProjectLocker. It's an internet based SVN/Trac Server. It is free for up to five users and 500MB of data. That's a pretty good size for an SVN repository. My current SVN repositories going back five years or so and dozens of projects only take up about 300MB. It works with a lot of SVN clients but I use Tortoise SVN and the subclipse plug-in and it was simple to make the switch. I blogged about how to get started with it, and I thought some folks involved in the earlier SVN discussion might be interested. It also got me more interested in Mylyn (a free task based plug-in for Eclipse, that really does a lot more than I ever imagined, and I'm sorry I didn't start using it when I first downloaded Galileo).
