Question on module crash

Post by SeeCwriter »

I am using a MOD5441X, and periodically the program will crash. Normally you get the Trap Dump, then the module reboots. But with one module, after the crash dump it outputs "Boot overide Jumper Installed doing alternate boot", followed by IP, Mask, and MAC, then a command prompt with message "Welcome to the Netburner Alternate Boot Monitor Command Program Netburner MCF5441x Alternate image Monitor V1.09 Nov 1 2016 12:30:39 HELP for help", followed by another command prompt. After few seconds "Time out" is printed, line-feed, then "Time out" again, followed by about half of the first "Welcome" message, then it goes dead. It takes a power-cycle to recover.

Is the way the module is crashing due to the way the application crashed? We haven't installed any "Boot jumper" on the module.
