Re: MOD54415 compatability?
Plug in compatible is the design goal. In general it should work, a lot will depend on exactly what you are trying to do. The issues as I see it will be: 1)analog pins not available as GPIO. So the 8 analog pins J2 6..13 ARE NOT available as GPIO. You can probably use them as inputs and two (9,13) o...

Re: NANO54415
The nano uses serial flash, the 5234 has no such capability.
I doubt that it could be made to fit on the board.
What exact TPU functionality do you need that could not be done with the very capable capture and compare timers on the 54415?

Re: NANO54415
The USB host or Device interface is selectable by stuffing or not stuffing two resistors.
So the nano brings out the pins for either host or device USB.
The default stuffing will be device.

Re: NANO54415
I just sent the "new" dev board for the NANO out for fabrication. It has 5 LED's 1 power, and 4 connected to GPIO. It also has a micro SD connector. All nano pins go to un-populated header pins. Power via Jack or USB Uart 0 -> USB (With a jumper to disconnect the RX line so you can do TTL ...

>Does NB have any problem with other companies making a new carrier board to house the new module ? I'm not sure I understand your question... exactly... One way to read it is "do you mind if we use your nano boards in projects of our own design..." Of course not... Another way to read it ...

Re: NANO54415
We have no problem building anything. Our production facility works very closely with us and we have a good relationship. We understand their costs and processes and they understand ours. We are trying to make it so we can sell NANO dev kits through distribution for $99 I can't say if we will meet t...

Re: NANO54415
The Mini PCI is easy, just re flow in the SMT oven. the problem with the adapter board that converts a NANO into module format is that its basically double sided with through hole connectors. So one side needs to be masked and hand soldered. Not sure how to answer the "can we use dynamic memory...
