Out of curiosity, do you get any network interruption issues on large frames (~1500 bytes)? Basically, if it's an issue of clock noise on the input, I'd expect you to see some frame loss on maximal frames.

Re: Time Stability
The issue being reported is that the System time (derived from TimeTick I believe) is drifting. The RTC itself is not drifting, or at least is not being stated to drift.

Re: EtherLink behavior
Ron, Yea looking into this, the issue is that when the link comes back up the FEC gets reset and all the multicast registration bits get cleared in the hardware. Running in Independent mode this can be relatively easily mitigated, as it is literally a bitfield. It's less clear with regards to switch...

Re: EtherLink behavior
Very important note with regards to the MOD54417: If there is an issue with the ethernet, be sure to mention whether the device is in switch mode or independent mode. From context, Ron, I think you're in independent mode. Oh. I think this may be an issue with failing to re-register multicast address...

Indeed that was the case, though I thought your issues were on the 2.8 branch.

Re: MOD54415 DSPI Ch 1 SOUT slew rate
Are you running the DSPI driver or a custom one? The DSPI driver sets the slew automatically based on configured clock speed...

Re: Accessing NetBurner remotely?
Define 'remote'. LAN local, but not physically local? Accessible on the public Internet? Behind a NAT router?
LAN local: use IPSetup.
Public IP: doable, but needs custom TCP control
NATed: you need it to phone home.

Re: Access to the SystemTick interrupt
That's... an interesting thought, but I can't help but wonder if you're prescribing a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Basically, it sounds like you have a state machine that you're trying to determine *when* it should wake up based on the next event to occur. We have several of these withi...

Re: NTP to DCF pulse
You do know that the PK70 is designed as a development platform with an internal databus to communicate to an internal custom board, right? Technically, yes, you can configure the RS232 tx pin for GPIO. You can also use the RTS pin instead, that way you can still have the serial output for debugging...

Hmm... Perhaps Paul can weigh in with his experience from his hovering rocket. I know he had to do a lot for the balancing.
