Re: Converting to v3.x tools

Try building /loading something like the nburn\example\Web\SimpleHtml If you can't see it via discover.netburner.com... Try ipsetup it should show up as "newconfig" Or run localdiscover from the command line. I don't remember if the loading shim for converting to 3.0 does Discover.Netburner.com. (It...

Re: Code signing...

Signing involves a Hash, it currently hashes with SHA1 or SHA256 sha1 by default, passing -sha256 to nbsign uses sha256 functionally an RSA signature of a blob is hash the blob, then encode the hash result with the private key, this result is the signature. (some padding and other minor details omit...

Code signing...

The next 3.3.3 release will support code signing. It supports signing with an RSA private key. Once code signing is enabled the board will not load unsigned code. (Jumper based Alt monitor recovery still works) We made it about as simple as possible. Once you have a Public key loaded on the system. ...

Re: MOD 5234 File upload issue

Are you sure its a trap, and not the busy serial port sending an 'A' to abort to the monitor on reboot? If the device on the serial port is polled then you can stop the polling while updating using the shutdown hook...to tell your system to stop the polling... You can find an example of autoupdate f...

Re: MOD 5234 Websockets How to handle connections

select (see other answer ) is how to manage multiple connections, serial, websocket, tcp etc... any tcp/ or websocket you open you must close or you have a leak. with tcp you can detect dead sockets with DWORD TcpGetLastRxTime( int fd ); void TcpSendKeepAlive ( int fd ); For websockets.... I need to...

Re: MOD 5234 Using both serial ports

You need to call:

#include <iosys.h>
with your fd from openserial:
ReplaceStdio( 0, fd ); //stdin
ReplaceStdio( 1, fd ); //stdout aka printf etc...
ReplaceStdio( 2, fd ); //stderror

Re: Websockets Non-Blocking MOD5234

The way I would do this is keep a list of file descriptors I care about... IE Serial ports, tcp connections, websockets... and put them all in a select. That way the task wakes up for the desired activity on any of the differing fd's The fd returned form the open serial, or websockets can be used ju...

Re: Websockets Non-Blocking MOD5234

Create a new task that just manages the websocket stuff ..... Are you creating a websocket to an external server? Or is an external device creating a websocket via our server? Give me an outline of what tasks you have created and what the desired data flow looks like and whats presently blocking... ...
