Re: Multihome VLAN

It's a bug in 2.9.5. Thanks NetBurner support for a fast patch turnaround!

Re: Multihome VLAN

I should add that http and ftp work just fine if the interface is created without a VLAN tag.

Multihome VLAN

I am trying to get VLAN's to work on a multihome interface with 2.9.5. I initialize the network using a static IP address. This is interface 1. I add a VLAN interface with a different address and a VLAN tag. My switch is set up to tag traffic with the VLAN id through one port and not tag on the othe...

TACACS+ or RADIUS

Does anyone have any information on porting a TACACS+ or RADIUS client to the NetBurner 2.9.x?

Re: VLANs and IPv6

All we need is Layer 2 VLAN tagging which is protocol independent and should be very simple to implement. The idea is to isolate our internal chassis Ethernet control plane from the outside world using a small layer 2 switch with port based VLAN's. The NetBurner only has one physical port so it is s...

Re: The Monster opens one eye (IPV6 ...)

Hi Paul, IPv6 is now required to bid on government contracts. That is why you get the "We need it but I don't know" rhetoric from everyone. Typical government procurement garbage. It's on the requirements sheet so we gotta have it... We need it too. What level I dunno but my boss has been ...

VLANs and IPv6

:?: Anyone know if/when Netburner will support VLAN tagging and IPv6? We have a customer asking for both.

Thanks,
Mike

Accessing more of the MOD54415 UserParameters flash

The MOD54415 specifies 128kB of user parameter storage vs. the 8kB of the MOD5234 and others. However, the SaveUserParameters() system call only allows 8k maximum to be written. I have cloned a custom routine that increases the write limit to 128kB. It seems to work just fine. int SaveMyUserParamete...
