Virtual Com port works then stops
When I set up a virtual com port, it will work for a while and then at some point it will stop receiving. What I've noticed is that when it is working, the setup app will show "Connected from 1 to 1". When it stops it shows "Connected from 0 to 1". Any idea what is going wrong? I...

MOD54415 eDMA Documentation problem
If anyone is trying to figure out how to use eDMA in the MOD54415 and is confused by documentation that inconsistently specifies both 16 and 64 DMA channels, it is probably because you have revision 4 of the MCF5441x Reference Manual. The eDMA chapter in this revision is wrong. Correct documentation...

Re: MOD54415 Boot Recovery
No. It is/was connected to a powered hub, in turn connected to a desktop.

Re: MOD54415 Boot Recovery
Note to dciliske:
I had tried doing the TP1 short when I posted my first message. But Autoupdate hung (or if I waited long enough, timed out).
It was at that time powered by USB, so that may have been the problem.

Re: MOD54415 Boot Recovery
I finally got it back.
I tried powering the MOD-DEV-70 with an external supply rather than using USB power. Did the FLA command. That still ended with:
*****Er
but after a reset it booted the factory app.
So it appears that powering the MOD54415/MOD-DEV-70 via USB maybe marginal.

Re: MOD54415 Boot Recovery
I tried the serial download using the factory app (over the USB port on the MOD-DEV-70). Attach debugger without rebuild?
If you have a running debug image in a Netburner, is it possible to get the Netburner Eclipse debugger to attach to it without rebuilding and reloading the application image?

Re: Netburner MOD54415 demo error
Ah. Adding the jumper you mention fixed my wandering A/D problem. The switch readout is now solid. Thanks.
