I tried two different cables that work in other situations.
All the troubleshooting that I have done leads me to think that the NB simply doesn't like me. I am going to check with Parallax and see if they will reprogram it for me.
Thanks to you all.

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was only testing the regulator with a 30 ohm resistor to see if it could feed that much power. I didn't have the PINK connected at the time. The PINK is only drawing about 200 mA when it is connected. I tried working with the serial port today to see if I could make...

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
I did not receive a wall wort or voltage regulator when I bought the PINK. I am using a 9 volt, 800 mA wall wart which feeds a 5805A, 5 Volt, 1 Amp voltage regulator. The regulator outputs voltage around 5.0-5.4 volts. I tried connecting the PINK directly to my computer through Ethernet (via crossov...

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
I definitely can get rid of the stamp.
I will be studying and learning the art of programming NBs and most likely will be using them more often in the future. I already know C so it shouldn't take me too long.
Where do you suggest I start?

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
I just double-checked the power supply: 5.0 Volts, and the PINK is drawing 200mA.
Is there a way to reset it (apart from cycling the power)?

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
Two questions:
Are the NBurn samples your talking about available on Netburner's web site?
How do I get the code on the module?

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
Yeah, it is programmed by a company called Parallax, who also make the Basic Stamp microcontroller. It's meant to make it easier to get the Stamp web enabled. This was the first time I used this set-up and this is how it worked out. Certainly, not easy for me. PINK stands for Parallax Internet Netbu...

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
I appreciate the help with this. The only problem for me is I bought this module from Parallax and as far as I know, they do not release the software that they programmed onto it. I would be happy to learn more about programming this module from scratch. Since I did not buy this as a development kit...

Re: SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
I didn't have it plugged into my Stamp at all. I only had it plugged into the network. I was testing its ability to display a variable on a web page. I did not change the configuration at all when the problem started. My power supply is a 9 volt wall wart rated at 800 mA which feeds a 5 volt voltage...

SB70 Ethernet lights blinking in sync; Suspect error
Hi, I have an SB70 (Parallax PINK). The network lights blink on and off in sync roughly once per second. The module will not show an ethernet connection (lights continue to blink on and off in sync) when I plug it into my router. This module was working fine. Then, with nothing changed has stopped w...
